I hope you all have a good Thanksgiving! This is my outfit for dinner tonight with my whole family!

Top - TopShop | | Skirt c/o - She Inside | | Socks - Forever 21 | | Shoes - Tory Burch Reva Flats

It's one of those days where I'm totally lazy, having Starbucks, and relaxing. It's snowing outside so it's just the most relaxing day for me.

I thought I'd do a little room tour/new goodies post...

She Inside sent me this top recently and I cannot wait to wear it. I reminds me so much of Alexander Wang, and him being my absolute FAVORITE designer (ever. period.), it was love at first sight.

Grande Chestnut Praline (p.s. Starbucks is doing this holiday thing where you get a card and a sticker if you buy a grande holiday drink and if you buy 5 holiday drinks, you get your next one free!) and snowman cookie...

What do you do on your snow days?

I haven't posted an outfit post in so darn long! Of course I'll have my Thanksgiving outfit up later and thankfully when I'm in NYC the weekend of December 5th, I'm hiring a photographer to take some outfit posts for me! #yayforprofeshphotos

In the meantime, here's my "insta-lately":

A major score from H&M...this top is more of a summer top, but I had to snatch it right when I saw it!!

My happy corner...I love my new fashion rack and shelf in my room. It's so me!

#ootd (on Wednesday I think?) Plaid - Brandy Melville | | Jacket - Jcrew | | Scarf - Forever 21

What better way to ring in the Holiday season, then with a holiday gift guide.

Gold Monogram Mug: here

I'm a sucker for any kind of mug. Especially one with my initial on it. This one is perfect for the holidays because it's gold colored, which reminds me of sparkling stars on top of the Christmas tree. Plus, I always like to drink coffee, hot chocolate, or tea on Christmas morning.

Jcrew Tartan Slippers: here

Perfect for a snowy day spent inside by the fire, drinking hot chocolate, and listening to holiday music with your family (there are also matching pajama bottoms!!).

Jcrew Vest: here

Holy. This vest is perfect for winter and the perfect present...Plus it comes in tons of different colors.

Michael Kors Crossbody: here

Mini splurge bags are the perfect Christmas present. This one is perfect because it's a color that matches well with anything you throw its way (or you can choose the brown option). The gold detailing is the perfect touch, and every girl loves a good crossbody bag for a day of shopping with friends.

Jcrew Barbour Jacket: here

'Tis the season of big warm coats and 10+ layers. This jacket is not only functional (a lot of cute jackets I own are not good for the cold), but it's equally adorable. Toss this on over a sweater, jeans, and well loved boots and you're set.

Michael Kors Wallet: here

You can never go wrong with a wallet. This one is simple, but well made and will last a long time.

Street Style Book: here

Gain major street style cred by taking inspo from this book. You can look for ideas for next Fashion Week...

Fresh Balsam Candle: here

These smell SO GOOD. And honestly, I burn one of these everyday in my room for at least 3 months leading up to Christmas, so I run out really fast.

Perfume: here

Daisy by Marc Jacobs is my favorite perfume, plus this packaging is way to cute to pass up.

Metallic Hunter Boots: here

When I saw these on Piperlime.com, I was immediately attracted to them. Not only is it just the season for cold weather boots, but they're metallic.

Jcrew on Christmas Eve is the perfect spot for finding a last minute thing. We usually go shopping in Georgetown a few days before Christmas and it's so magical and pretty (aside from being freezing). It's really fun getting Starbucks (a grande Gingerbread latte, of course), layering up in scarf upon scarf, and shopping with your family and friends.

I had been searching for a long cardigan for the longest time and found this one at Urban Outfitters. It's soo comfy and super long. I love it!!

I'm playing with this knee/thigh high socks and flat look. I kind of like it!

A lil inspo for your Tuesday...

These are all pictures that are inspiring and continue to inspire me everyday.

All pictures found on my WeHeartIt board.

I've been watching Gossip Girl (for the fifth time, did I tell you that already??) and this outfit was sort of inspired by season one. Ballet flats (Blair totally hates on "last season" Tory Burch flats in the show, but I adoore mine) and socks are a cute look. Paired with this sweater and skirt combo and it's a winner.

Lately, I've been missing NYC like crazy. I love the Upper East, but the trendy, hip SoHo is what I really miss. I'll be back in December thankfully!!

If you haven't noticed, I have a "currently craving" bit on my sidebar. It's a collection of my most-wanted at the moment. I thought I'd dedicate a post to it.

3.1 Phillip Lim Medium Pashli

I feel like I haven't stopped talking about this bag. It's seriously gorgeous! I'm thinking about getting it when I'm in NYC in December because I know I'd use it basically all the time.

Proenza Schouler Ps11

Ultimate dream cross-body. Just a little bit too expensive haha!

Loeffler Randall Booties

I love booties and I love black leather. Therefore, I need these. Makes perfect sense, right?

Loeffler Randall Rider Bag

Holy gorgeousness.

Topshop Lace Bralet

Pretty sure I talked about this earlier, but I'm obsessed. Wear it with black pants and flats, with an oversized topcoat and a skirt, or whatever and you'll look adorable. Take my word for it.

Faux Fur Vest

I've said I love faux fur this season, but have I really said it enough?!

This is a simple DIY to make this!

I was [re]watching Gossip Girl (for the 5th time) and saw this Prada sign at the van der Woodsens' house and fell in love. But not with the price tag. You can buy them for around $450, which I didn't want to spend.

So I decided, why not do a DIY? I found a large canvas in my basement (I'd recommend you get a 2ft x 3ft) and just freehanded the drawing off of this picture:

If you're not comfortable freehanding, print out the right size letters (from above) and trace around them on your canvas, spaced out well, and paint the letters in. If you miss a couple spots, just wait for it to dry and use a black sharpie to fill in the rest.

I'm really happy with how mine turned out! It was pretty easy and super rewarding! Mine isn't perfect (definitely looks handmade), but I loove it.

I appreciate a structured jacket. Not only is this jacket "structured", it's cozy, comfy, AND still loose and "cool". I know I totally contradicted myself. A structured jacket that's loose? Just let the pictures speak for themselves!

Pants - Forever 21 | | Sweater - H&M | | Jacket c/o - She Inside | | Shoes - Target

I'm kind of in love with these pants. I can't even begin to explain how amazing they are. You need them because not only are they freaking adorable, they're only $23.

Not to mention, this jacket is leather trimmed.

Bag - CĂ©line | | Sweater - H&M | | Pants - Forever 21 | | Shoes (in love) - Target | | Nails - ESSIE "Licorice"
