I went to NYC with my friend, Story last weekend and had the best time.

I thought I'd do a post on my trip with a little bit of a guide mixed in. If you're ever in the city, I have a list of things you should definitely do!

1. Madison Avenue:

The shops are the greatest. They have Alice and Olivia (the best place in the world) and a ton of my other favorites. We took this in Theory!

2. New York Palace:

Being Gossip Girl fanatics, the Palace is the place to go. Around Christmas time, I'd definitely check it out.

3. Laduree on Madison Avenue:

Delicious...Definitely get pistachio.

4. The Plaza:

Order the classic pizza while you're there. It's one of the best I've ever had.

5. Soho:

Honestly, one of my favorite parts of the city. I love how busy it is and the shops are ah-mazing.

(Taken in All Saints).

6. Central Park:

In specific, Le Pain Quotidien.

7. Café Lalo:

If you're in the Upper West Side, stop by this cute spot for a breakfast or brunch.

Order the "Breakfast at Tiffany's" meal and you'll be good to go.

8. The Met:

Go go go! My favorite part is the French Renaissance. You must check it out. And don't be fooled by the not so swanky food court...they have some of the best pasta marinara you'll ever taste.

9. Saks Fifth Avenue (Café SFA):

Don't miss out! Around the holidays, Saks looks so inviting. There are swarms of people (of course), but you'll have so much fun. The shoe salon is my favorite floor, by far. They have tables and tables full of Louboutins and Manolos. Plus, stop in at Café SFA in the back for a bite to eat. Their pomegranate green iced tea is the best I've ever had. Plus, make sure to try the crab and corn chowder. It's delicious. I also recommend the line caught albacore tuna salad sandwich or a lobster roll.

Above is my outfit for Saks yesterday. (Top - Banana Republic | | Blazer - Marc by Marc Jacobs | | Pants - GAP | | Shoes - Nike for Jcrew | | Bag - 3.1 Phillip Lim)

Did I mention that we met Ingrid Nilsen at Saks??? Another reason you should go!

We were on her snapchat story!!

I love this scarf my mom got me as an advent present. It's super cute and I love wearing it with a neutral palette.

Starbucks in hand (obviously) and my 3.1 Phillip Lim satchel (AHH!).

P.S. You must get a caramel brulee latte from Starbucks if you haven't yet...
I found this adorable gold clutch at H&M last night, just in time for some holiday parties. I love the long strap and that you can use it as a cross body or you can tuck the strap inside and use it as a clutch.

Disclaimer: not sponsored, my own opinion

Oh my. I stumbled upon this site, where you can find designer clothes on sale. Of course, they're past seasons, but I've found some real gems!

One of my favorite finds is an Alexander Wang bag I've had my eye on for SO long. He's my favorite designer, so naturally I love his handbag designs. This one is usually $995, but on the site it's 50% off! (Might have to start saving ;-) ).

They have Alice & Olivia, Alexander Wang, 3.1 Phillip Lim, Reed Krakoff, and Helmut Lang to name a few of my favorites.

How cute is that Alice & Olivia dress #dying

Check out their site here

Madewell, you've done it again.

This sweatshirt is everything to me. I've already worn in 3 times this trip...It's so cozy and so cute.

This jacket is basically paper thin. The only reason I bought it was because I thought it was the cutest thing. It pairs perfectly with this sweater and skirt combo.

Here are a few special presents for your loved ones this Christmas. These are a little more expensive, so if you don't want to spend a ton of money, check out my budget friendly holiday gift guide here.

Tiffany's Necklace
Silver here
Gold here

I saw these in the store while in NYC last weekend and OH MY! They are stunning!!! While the gold one is on the *really* pricey side, of $2,100, the silver option is much more affordable. She'll be sure to love it (how could she not? Especially in the signature little blue box?!). Did I mention Blair Waldorf has one?

3.1 Phillip Lim Pashli

I can FINALLY recommend you this bag (I still can't get over it)...Not only is it 1) spacious and 2) freaking adorable, but it makes the perfect gift.

Rebecca Minkoff Red Quilted Crossbody Bag

This bag is seriously cute and so versatile. Use as a clutch for a holiday night out or use the chain strap for daily use. Plus, it's on sale at Neiman Marcus.

Tory Burch Miller Sandals

I know, I know. They're sandals...for the springtime. But they're so cute and are sure to make any girl happy this holiday season. Also, they're gold, so...

Topshop Fur Vest

I mean, if I haven't already stressed it enough, you need a fur vest. This one is super cute and SO soft (I saw it in the store and fell in love)

Ted Baker Bow Dress

HOLY!!!! This dress is way to cute. Oh and if you get her the Rebecca Minkoff bag, it'll go perfectly for a night out on Christmas eve. Navy + red = a match made in heaven.

Christian Louboutin So Kate Pumps

If you're looking to give her a present she's sure to fall in love with (and use to Christmas dinner...) then you're well off getting her these. Louboutins are every girl's dream shoe and thee are holiday-party ready.

Marc Jacobs Daisy

I know, I featured this in my last gift guide, but it's seriously a great gift. It smells ah-maaazz-ing and the packaging is too cute for the holiday season.

I wore this outfit to dinner on Friday night and decided to share it with you guys! I paired my tall socks, skirt, and sweater with my favorite faux fur vest and Tory Burch flats.
