If you follow me on Instagram (@style_by_salli), you've definitely seen this sweater. I bought it two winters ago from Saks (it's by Rag & Bone) and I'm still not over it. Not only is it insanely warm, it's SO CUTE! It makes me want to go skiing or to a lodge in Aspen. I love it paired with ripped jeans, but with this look I paired it with leggings and my field jacket from Jcrew.

My mom's good friend gifted me with this scarf for Christmas and I think it's so easy to wear. The color is perfect for my wardrobe (because I only wear neutrals, haha!). It goes with everything and it's super cozy. I wore it with a simple sweater from H&M and a Forever 21 jacket. I've been loving wearing army green this season and this jacket is the perfect addition. It's a really thin and light jacket, but over a sweater it was perfect for the weather today.

My stepmother gave me this sweater for Christmas and I love it! I love the style of it and it is one of the softest things I have. I paired it with leggings and a cute long gold necklace.

Okay...so technically this isn't a dress, but I'm pretending it is. I'm jumping on the trend of wearing a huge tee shirt as a dress with OTK (over the knee) boots. If you read my blog post early this year from when I went to the Montgomery County Fair, then you would know that my friends and I raced to Rugged Wearhouse to get men's lounge clothes because we got SOAKED! I ended up buying socks, a pair of Champion sweatpants, and this oversized tee all for $17 or so. I wear the pants all the time and I finally decided to pull this $3 shirt out again and wear it with this cute look.

My grandmother bought me these shoes for Christmas and I LOVE THEM! I pretty much have not taken them off. Fuzzy shoes are the best for winter, because they keep your feet so warm. I'll definitely be needing these next year in upstate New York. I paired them with my favorite GAP leggings, my H&M sweater, and a gold necklace.

I hope that everyone celebrating had a wonderful day yesterday. I had a busy day that was so incredibly fun! Christmas is by far my favorite holiday. You probably already know that, because I've said it ten times, but the entire ambience of my houses are simply the best. Since I got my acceptance to Syracuse prior to Christmas, my day was FILLED with orange and blue. Also, I can't wait to wear the clothes that I got as gifts for Christmas!!

A couple months ago, or so, my mom and I went to the Jcrew in Georgetown and we saw the New Balance x Jcrew collection. They had two color collections: grey and blue or orange and blue. I fell in LOVE with the orange and blue collection (because of Syracuse), but it was before I'd gotten in, so my mom surprised me with these INCREDIBLE leggings from the collection. I can't wait to wear these next year on gameday or to the gym! Wooooooo! I am definitely to be that person who wears only their school gear for the entirety of freshman year (ha!).

My sister, dad, stepmother, and I had the nicest morning. My dad made delicious waffles with strawberry topping and hot chocolate. Later, my sister and I went to our grandmother's house with my entire mom's side of the family. My grandmother has the best Christmas decorations and a HUGE tree. It was so fun to see everyone. Afterwards, my sister and I went back to our mom's house and relaxed by the fire with my mom and my stepdad and opened presents. We then went to my mom's brothers house for dinner with the family again. When we got back home, we watched the second Harry Potter. We are trying to have a marathon before school starts again. I totally forgot my huge obsession with it.

What did you do yesterday?

I'm wearing this cardigan again, because I am OBSESSED with it. I paired it with my favorite necklace by Bijoux By Delphine and leggings. It was such a comfortable outfit that I will definitely wear again and again.

I went to Paul with my friend, Kylee, today and it was so much fun!

I put this casual outfit on for an quick shopping excursion. I forgot about this cardigan, but I'm so happy I brought it back out. It is perfect paired with a simple tee and jeans. Long cardigans are the best for the winter and layer so easily.

I could not be more excited to tell everyone this!! I fell in love with Syracuse University in January of this year and since then, it's all I can think about. We visited it over the summer and then went back on August 28th for a portfolio review for the interior design program. I honestly loved it so much and both times we visited I fell more in love with the campus and everything about it. For over a month (since I submitted my application for the environmental and interior design program), I couldn't  sleep, because I was too excited for my application decision. On the 16th, I got an email from admissions and I was accepted. I don't think I've ever been so happy or cried so much (except for when we bought my horse). If you see me with copious amounts of Cuse apparel and accessories (and winter clothes haha!), you know why!

GO ORANGE!!!!!

I love love the holiday season and wanted to share what I've been up to lately. My friends Caroline, Natalie, Isabelle, and I went to jingle ball a week ago and it was so much fun.

I wore my favorite H&M sweater with my Bijoux By Delphine "Hadley" necklace with Adidas and leggings.

I've also made two batches of holiday cookies and had a ton of fun. Baking is the perfect holiday activity when you're with family or friends. I love putting on holiday music in the background, because it really puts me in the spirit.

This is a picture of my outfit details from a couple days ago. I wore my favorite Rag & Bone sweater, my ripped jeans from Boohoo, and my Stan Smith sneakers.

My friend Caroline and I went a ball last night and I wore this dress from Tobi. I got it on sale for only $27 and I'm obsessed. I paired it with a pair of suede navy heels and it was SO adorable.

My mom and I went shopping yesterday and I had to take a picture of this gorgeous tree. I can't wait to decorate our tree!

What have you been doing to get into the holiday spirit?

xoxo
This sweater was a Christmas gift from a few years ago that my mom bought. I love wearing it close t to the holidays, because it's so cheerful and festive.

I've showed everyone my new prints (which I can't get over!!), but I recently updated my shelves. They were boring me a bit, so I moved things around and added new things.

I really want to do a holiday room tour, but I never really decorate my room. I'm always burning a holiday candle and I have my lantern lights, but I never do more than that.
