I moved into my dorm room on Wednesday, the 23rd, and thought it would be fun if I showed you all pictures! My roommate and I went for a blue and white theme, as you can tell. I also love the pop of Syracuse orange! I think this space is so calming and perfect to spend our days and nights in since both of us are homesick.

I am super into the star trend right now. Star jeans, star sneakers, star tops, everything stars!! I was thinking it'd be the coolest thing to have a denim jacket covered in stars. This is honestly the easiest DIY I've ever done and the outcome is adorable! I ordered a denim jacket online and tons of iron on star patches in white. They're 99 cents per package and I ordered 12 packs. I basically just arranged them how I thought looked cool and ironed away! I ended up running out of stars for the sleeves, but I honestly think it looks pretty sick just on the front and back of the jacket. Super simple and super adorable! In total, I spent under $45 for this jacket and it's the chicest one I own!

The company JustFashionNow reached out to me on July 25 to ask if I would do a review for their site. I ended up choosing two items to review and can't wait to show you. I am going to review every aspect of their site below!

Shipping: So they reached out to me on the 25th of July and I emailed back the same day. They ended up shipping the items on August 1st, which means it took until the 17th of August to reach me. Since it is coming from Hong Kong, it is understandable that it took such a long time. However, just make sure to keep in mind that it might take a longer time to get to you when ordering from them.

Customer Service: The customer service for me was really good. They replied very fast and were extremely helpful with their responses.

Clothing: The first dress I got, the blue dress, is a wonderful dress! I wish that I had gotten it before I went to the Hamptons so that I could've worn it out. I love the lace up detail on the back and it's really great quality. It's a good price for what you are getting, at $33. That is a really good deal for a dress that you'll get a lot of use out of. I can imagine a lot of scenarios where I could wear this dress. The only complaint I would have is that there is a zipper on the side of the dress that is white and kind of shows, so it doesn't match the other side. However, overall, I really like this one. For reference, I ordered both in a size 2 and they fit perfectly! Be sure to read the size chart before you order!

The second dress, the floral maxi dress, is also cute. I don't ever wear maxi dresses, so this was a first for me. I think that it's a great option for dinner during the summertime paired with lace up heels and a cute clutch. The couple complaints I have about this dress, however, are, one, that it had a strange smell out of the packaging. That is a totally fixable thing, because I am sure it will wear off after it goes through the wash, however it's not a great first impression. The other is that I'm not a huge fan of the fabric, however it does list what it is made out of, so just be sure to look at the material before you buy. Overall, I like this dress and I think I'll definitely wear it next summer.

I stumbled upon this tumblr blog, entitled "Cluttered Thoughts", and it's simply beautiful. Her writing is stunning and inspiring and so incredible. It's honestly jaw dropping. She captures the essence of everything human and everything raw and real in her excerpts and pieces. I was scrolling through it and came across a piece that really struck me.

I had such a strong connection to this piece. I am constantly waiting. I've spent my whole life waiting. Waiting to turn sixteen, eighteen, twenty-one, waiting to be in high school, waiting to get into college, waiting to go to college, get married, have kids. I think and plan and dream about my life down the road. And while it's normal and perfectly fine to dream and plan, I feel like it's too consuming. It's holds me back from living in the moment. I want to be able to experience every moment to it's fullest, without waiting for something to happen, waiting for someone to come into my life. Why do humans do this? Why do we rush through life waiting for the important milestones to pass by? I feel like the first eighteen years of my life have flown by in front of my eyes and I have no control and no way to slow it down. I want to be able to step back and slow down.

This piece was really inspiring for me. I love finding writing like hers that really makes me stop and think about my life and my actions. I hope you check out her writing...

It's so beautiful in the Hamptons! The temperature was perfect. Here's a look I wore on the first day! paired this denim skirt with a Hamptons shirt I got at Brandy Melville a couple weeks ago.

I am obsessed with this new denim jacket. I especially dig it with denim jeans and a simple cropped tee from Brandy. I topped the look with a simple black crossbody bag and Stan Smiths!

It was a little chilly and rainy yesterday, so I wore pants with a cute top. I love this ruffle top. It dresses up a plain pair of pants and pairs so well with gold jewelry. You can buy it here!
